Australian test captain Tim Paine has not played first class cricket in England in 9 years, since a test series in July 2010 when the then 25 year old blonde wicket keeper from Hobart enjoyed his 2nd Uk tour after being part of the 2009 Ashes tour but did not play any long form cricket on that tour.
Paine has had 3 tours to England previously for Australia 2009 (ODI and T20), 2010 (3 formats), 2017 (ODI tour as captain)
Tim Paine has not played test cricket for 9 years in England and perhaps it could be a challenge for him having also never played country cricket in the UK which is some what surprising given his incredible skills and ability with the gloves and bat.
Steve Smith and David Warner are both about to enjoy their 3rd Ashes tour to England after touring in 2013 and 2015. Their experience will be invaluable to Paine after both playing in the World Cup which is starting this week in the UK.
More to come including a detailed interview with Tim Paine shortly on the website.
